We recommend treating your genuine pigskin lampshade with mink when you feel the shade getting dry, or at a minimum of 2 times per year. This will ensure your shade stays hydrated, and will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Our genuine pig skin lampshades are hand dyed, and the pigments will vary slightly.
